Dust Team Swap April 2009

I received these lovely goodies this week in the mail.  I love it when things arrive for me!  A lovely necklace, the pink beads look like yummy lollies and some pretty pink gift tags.

Recently I joined in the Dust Team swap and it gave me the opportunity to get to know a fellow Duster.

It was great fun and I enjoyed spying and checking out her blog in order to make her some lovely goodies too!

Happy Holiday Snaps

We stayed in a lovely canal front home so we could take our little doggy along with us.  

There was a gorgeous pool that the kids loved to jump in at anytime of the day.  We had a little boat to use around the canals.  The kids loved being pulled behind it on the kayaks!

We went to the Mountains and visited Tropical Fruit World tasting some yummy fruits, and Thunderbird Park 

mining for Thunder Eggs.

The kids went snorkeling and fishing.

The little man loved to dig in the canal and would do it all day if you let him.

The beaches were amazing!

Wishlist Wednesday!

We are going on a beach holiday today so I guess my wishes have come true, at least for the next week! The sun is shining today, the kayaks are ready to go and the kids have been packed for days.

Wishing you all visits from the Sales Fairy and I'll see you when we return.

Felt Craft Crazy

WooHoo School Holiday Fun

So it's the first day of the Easter long weekend, school holidays for the kids.  Here is the first day's craft creations.  I'm loving felt at the moment and I didn't really know how well the girls could hand sew.  I think they did a pretty good job.  They are so imaginative too!

Treasury love

I've had some Etsy treasury love lately, and have seen how people add them to their blogs.  I finally worked out how to do it.  Above is a lovely treasury first timer  Angelene from "Jewellery by Ange" She has done a lovely job at her first ever treasury and included my Music Notebook Organiser.

It's a small screenshot I know but you can see it here for a while before it expires! 

I've been checking out everyones fantastic treasuries and I'm being inspired to make one to.  Just have to catch one. Dust Team members seem to be dusting them up so fast and some have even made it to the front page of Etsy!

Craft ideas for the holidays?

I finally caught up on a friends blog she has a great recipe Benihana Japanese Fried Rice Recipe

I must try it soon.

Only 4 days till Easter break and I'll have a bit over a week without having to make school lunches, no reading groups, no early morning tennis, no Drama classes, no Rock climbing and best of all NO Homework YAY!

I think I will go to the local craft shop Spotlight and get some supplies for the kids school holiday activities.  Anyone got some ideas, I'd love to hear them, we love craft!
