Like many crafters and quilters out there, I have a lot of unfinished projects (UFO's), works in progress(WIP's) that have been tossed into a tub for another day, for reasons due to always busy family life, projects I fell out of love with and of course many new and exciting projects I just had to try!
I've decided to set myself a little challenge and try and go through this tub full of magical treasures and start completing them one by one. Of course there is a weekly time limit so that I can share them all with you, that might be a bit ambitious.
Here's the first one. I love butterflies and have had these beauties sitting in the tub for a few years now. Lovely Batik fabric really complimented them and some stipple quilting. I'm very happy with how it turned out and it's up and hanging on the wall already.
Now that wasn't so hard was it, best go and see what I'll finish up next, I have a week right!

So intricate, i wish i was that good at applique!
What a gorgeous hanging. Such intricate work. One of the things I'd like to do is learn a little quilting but I have so many unfinished projects elsewhere that it's going to be awhile before I get to it :) Good for you for getting the unfinished under control.
This wall hanging is absolutely lovely - love the flowers and butterflies, the colours are great - beautiful work!!!
